HR Stars Awards Update: Momentum builds across Southeast Asia

As the HR Stars Awards season gathers pace across Southeast Asia, we are seeing strong engagement from HR leaders, teams, and organisations determined to showcase their most impactful work. From live presentations to newly revealed finalists and open nominations, each market is moving decisively into its next phase.

Here is a concise rundown of where things stand—and what you can expect in the coming weeks.

Indonesia: Presentations underway

The 2025 HR Stars Awards Indonesia has entered the presentation stage. Finalists are now booking their slots to present their HR initiatives and achievements directly to the judging panel.

This is where strategy meets scrutiny. Each presentation allows finalists to demonstrate not just outcomes, but the thinking, leadership, and measurable impact behind their work. Following the presentation sessions, judges will move into the evaluation phase before winners are officially announced.

What’s next: Evaluation by the judging panel, followed by the much-anticipated winners’ announcement.

Malaysia: Finalists revealed, presentations in progress

For the 2025–2026 HR Stars Awards Malaysia, finalists were officially revealed on 12 February. If you missed the announcement, you can view the full list here.

With the spotlight now firmly on the finalists, presentations are currently underway. As with Indonesia, this stage allows organisations to articulate the depth of their HR transformation efforts before the judges proceed to evaluation.

What’s next: Completion of presentations, judging evaluation, and the announcement of Malaysia’s winners.

Thailand: Nominations closed; finalists announcement coming soon

The 2026 HR Stars Awards Thailand officially closed on 16 February. Our team is now carefully reviewing the submitted entries to shortlist this year’s finalists.

The energy and quality of submissions have been encouraging, and we are preparing to unveil the finalists on 1 March.

What’s next: Finalists announcement on 1 March. Stay tuned as we reveal the organisations and leaders advancing to the next stage.

Vietnam: Final call for nominations

The 2026 HR Stars Awards Vietnam remains open — but not for long. Nominations will close on 1 March.

If you know an HR rockstar, a transformative team, or an organisation driving meaningful people initiatives, now is the time to nominate. This is also an opportunity for senior HR practitioners and industry leaders who wish to contribute as judges. To express interest in judging, please reach out to hrstarsawards@chiefofstaff.asia.

What’s next: Nominations close on 1 March, followed by the shortlisting process.
