Paul Howell

Managing Director
Singapore

Paul Howell is one of Asia’s most experienced business journalists covering workplaces and the HR profession in the region. With a media career spanning more than 20 years, and bases in Melbourne, Dhaka, Singapore, and Hong Kong, he is adept at building large-scale professional communities and empowering them with news, insights, and relevant analysis. 

After leading the US-owned HRM Magazine in Singapore for more than 10 years, he launched Chief of Staff Asia in September 2021. This professional trade media brand for the digital age combines both online (website, socials, video) and offline (printed magazine, awards and live events) platforms to bring all of Southeast Asia’s HR professionals and best practice case studies together in one community.

Paul Howell is a permanent resident of Singapore, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Rosselle Palentinos, known as Ross to her colleagues and friends, is a seasoned professional in the field of communications with a Mass Communication degree and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. With over 13 years of experience in various fields, including proofreading, newspaper layout, and digital marketing, Ross has demonstrated her versatility and adaptability in the industry.

Throughout her 6 years of experience in managing teams in the BPO-Newspaper industry, Ross has gained a reputation for being a great people manager and for her passion in employee engagement activities. She also enjoys doing copywriting on the side, and is always looking for creative ways to improve her craft.

In her free time, Ross indulges in her hobbies such as crocheting and cooking. Ross currently holds the position of Projects and Partnerships Director at Chief of Staff Asia.

Allison Moore is currently serving as the Tech Editor at Chief of Staff Asia. With a genuine passion for HR in Southeast Asia, Allison brings a unique perspective to her work. A recent graduate with a double bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a diverse background in digital marketing, she has experience in copywriting, content creation in all forms, and SEO – and is eager to dive into the world of HR technology. 

As an accomplished author, she has published a travel guide showcasing her deep connection to her home, Bali. Bringing perceptiveness and strong research skills to the table, Allison is eager to create informative HR pieces. Allison’s creativity extends to her free time as she practises her artistic hobbies through painting, designing clothes, and diving into captivating novels.

Wilmart Palentinos

Wilmart Palentinos is a rockstar graphic designer with over 10 years of experience in the industry, as well as 2 years of experience in video editing. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills and developed a reputation for creating visually stunning designs that effectively communicate his clients’ messages.

In January 2023, Wilmart was appointed as the Art Director at Chief of Staff Asia, where he oversees the creative direction of design projects. He is responsible for developing innovative design concepts and ensuring that all design work meets the company’s high standards.

When he is not working, Wilmart enjoys cultivating plants and mountain biking. His love for nature and the outdoors fuels his creativity, and he finds that spending time in nature helps him to stay inspired and focused.

Austyn Allison

Austyn Allison is an experienced editor, journalist and editorial consultant. He spent 18 years in Dubai, where he edited market-leading regional trade publications covering the advertising industry and the major projects market in the Middle East and North Africa.

He has worked as a sub-editor on national newspapers in his native Scotland, as well as London and Dubai.

In his spare time, Austyn enjoys photography, crossword puzzles, fountain pens and napping.

He recently moved with his wife to Bangkok, where he plans to dedicate a large part of his time to finding the most tasteless shirts and the tastiest street food.

In writing, Mizpah aims to be clear, compelling, and inclusive. Currently based in Laoag City, a northern provincial capital in the Philippines, she brings over seven years of experience in public information, digital marketing, and nonprofits, and an academic background in social research. She veers between working as a writer and a youth outreach coordinator and volunteer, constantly rooting herself in a desire to encourage and uplift, with or without words.

Beyond these, Mizpah enjoys a bit of everything: from mobile gaming and singing, to investing in her health through curated recipes and home workouts. She is most content spending quality time with loved ones, including pets.

At present, she holds the position of Research Editor at Chief of Staff Asia.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and brings a fresh perspective and outstanding communication skills to the table. She has an uncanny ability to navigate complex projects, paying meticulous attention to detail and ensuring successful outcomes.

In her free time, she likes spending more time with her daughter (playing, cooking, and baking) and watching movies online.

She is the new Business Development Officer of Chief of Staff Asia, where she leverages her expertise to drive strategic growth initiatives and foster meaningful client relationships.

Donny A. Mononimbar, mostly known as Donny Andhika, is one of the most talented Indonesian in the journalism industry. With a career span for over 15 years, he has led companies from Indonesia, India, South Korea and Singapore. Used to be relentless in reporting, he is now specialising in newsroom operation and hyperlocal approach for media distribution using AI. He used to be the Head of the PR Department for Indonesia’s national entrepreneur organisation.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a football fanatic who always wears a black T-shirt everyday. He also loves to reach out to fellow journalists to have a discussion over relevant industry issues these days.

Donny is now based in Jakarta, where he spent most of his time enjoying coffee, street food, and carpentry.

Meet Arusha Das, a seasoned journalist and researcher who has been digging into the world of business and economics for the last 15 years.

With a knack for feeling the pulse of the industry, Arusha has worked across the countries in Asia and the US, both virtually and in person. Having worked for some industry majors like S&P Global, Tata Steel, her research and content have empowered brands to truly connect with their audiences.

When Arusha is not glued to her laptop, she’s either enjoying photography, reading, cooking or learning guitar, just recharging her creative batteries.
