HR professionals, as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG) experts are in high demand in Singapore in 2023, according to consultancy firm Robert Walters’s 2023 Salary Survey.
According to the report, companies showed a bigger appetite for hiring in HR, finance, sales and marketing, and procurement in 2022.
These trends are also set to continue in 2023.
“In the HR space, there will still be a strong emphasis on staff retention, so HR professionals with solid experience in this area will be highly sought after,” Robert Walters Singapore country manager Monty Sujanani said.
However, the report added that due to looming economic uncertainties, both companies and candidates should be more open to contractual roles in 2023.
