Bring them to work! That’s the top family-friendly benefit Singaporean companies can provide for their employees, according to Jobstreet’s 2022-2023 Outlook for Hiring, Compensation, and Benefits report.
According to the research, 19% of Singapore companies currently provide work activities and events that can be extended to employee family members. An additional 25% plan to provide this benefit over the coming 12 months.
Meanwhile, only 11% provide medical insurance for family members, while only 11% provide nursing rooms at workplaces. Around 14% of companies plan to provide these benefits over the next 12 months.
Only 5% of Singapore companies provide child care support, 3% provide playrooms at the workplace, and 3% provide children education allowance. There isn’t much interest in providing these benefits in the near future, with just 8%, 6% and 4% respectively planning to implement them over the next year.
