Business travelers from 10, as yet unspecified countries with a low risk for Covid-19, may soon be able to bypass long queues in Kuala Lumpur International Airport, through the use of its autogates.
This is according to Malaysia Minister of Home Affairs Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Quick response teams will be in operation starting February to assist with immigration officers during peak hours.
The minister attributed the long lines to the simultaneous arrivals of up to 26 flights, in five to ten minute intervals, during peak travel hours.
