They then consult with the sub-regional or regional internal Employee Counsel for the best approach in line with ethical and professional standards as well as a legally compliant manner.
The company also has bi-weekly Ethics & Compliance calls together with HR to ensure all issues are thoroughly discussed and to provide adequate time to strategise conflict management.
Meanwhile, both the SpeakUp! Mailbox and OpenLine are web-enabled reporting channels that are also toll-free, anonymous, and always available. These allow employees to even report misconduct without fear of retaliation and the assurance that their concern will be addressed in the most professional manner.
