Daewoong Pharmaceutical has hired 19 Indonesian biopharmaceutical experts to join their workforce in Korea, enhancing their global R&D capabilities.
The recruitment comes after the company selected Indonesia as a hub country in Southeast Asia.
The new hires, who arrived in Korea on April 24, are experts in pharmacy, biology, chemistry, and engineering and will work in the quality department at Daewoong’s Osong Smart Factory.
To support their career development, Daewoong will provide opportunities for growth through its Career Development Program (CDP).
The company also plans to offer a detailed support programme, including housing and financial transaction guidance, to help the new employees adapt to life in Korea.
Daewoong plans to continue hiring Indonesian experts and has already recruited 60 more for the second group.
The company also aims to conduct large-scale recruitment activities in Indonesia later this year.
