Five ways Chief of Staff Asia is set to stand out in 2024

Welcome back to Chief of Staff Asia; and welcome to what is set to be another transformative year in HR excellence!

As we step into 2024, the Chief of Staff Asia community, with platforms including printed magazine, social media, video, and events, is gearing up to unveil even further opportunities to engage, share, and connect with the vast fraternity of HR professionals across Southeast Asia.

You’ll soon be able to embrace the power of collective learning with our new team subscriptions. That content experience is set to be expanded with a developing library of real-world HR case studies from around the region. Audiences will also experience our new market reports, offering a deep dive into key service areas that HR teams rely on throughout the year.

Also, our HR Stars Awards programme is scheduled to roll out across four markets this year, extending our annual search for the best, brightest, and most innovative HR practices to each of the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia over the coming year.

So for this Chief of Staff Five, the first for 2024, let us share with you plans and opportunities for the year ahead. What follows is five things HR professionals and teams can look forward to seeing from Chief of Staff Asia in this exciting new year.

1. Team and Organisation Subscriptions

Chief of Staff Asia offers a healthy, balanced content meal of news, views, and real-life case studies from the HR profession across Southeast Asia. And like any good meal, it is always even better when shared! That’s why Chief of Staff Asia is introducing team and organisational subscriptions from February this year. We’re here for “the love of HR”, and we hope our content, whether it is an interview, specialist research paper, or news and real world insights can help spark new and far-reaching conversations within HR teams as we all search for new, innovative ways forward in people management.

2. HR Stars Awards

In 2023, we launched the HR Stars Awards in Singapore and Indonesia, seeking out – and finding – some of the best examples of HR innovation and leadership from across those two markets. In 2024, Chief of Staff Asia will be adding the Philippines and Malaysia to that list, with separate programmes for HR teams and leaders in all four markets. Fully online, and with a focus on creativity, innovation, and achieving more with limited resources, these awards offer some of the best value and widest reaching recognition for HR professionals in Southeast Asia. Things kick off just after Chinese New Year, with nominations for the Philippines Awards open from February 19.

Chief of Staff Asia prides itself on its comprehensive research papers, made available free and easily to all subscribers, In 2024, we’ll be adding to this portfolio with papers focused on specific service markets associated with HR teams. Chief of Staff Asia‘s “Case in Point” series, introducing from February 2024, will showcase the real world case studies from throughout the Southeast Asia region, touching on every market, industry, and organisation size and style. These bite-sized, fact-driven pieces feature insights from the HR leaders at the coal face and are presented with the view of sharing ideas and further sparking conversation across the HR community in this unique part of the world.

5. Magazines

The first issue of the Chief of Staff Asia print magazine for 2024 is currently being printed and delivered to subscribers based throughout the Southeast Asia region, with new editions available quarterly for the rest of the year. Delivery is free, but you can also find copies at participating co-working facilities, and at a range of HR-focused conferences and events in 2024. Digital copies are available via the chiefofstaff.asia website, and will be sent to all subscribers on the designated publishing day.
