Management consulting firm McKinsey & Company is set to slash up to 2,000 jobs within the next few months, according to several news reports this month.
Roles affected by the restructuring could include HR, communications, and technology, a source told The Financial Times.
According to a separate report by Bloomberg, the layoffs would be a part of a measure to save money by eliminating support roles.
McKinsey has hired around 17,000 employees in the past five years.
