When Big 3 Group recognised the need to consolidate their HR and organisational tools into a single platform, they took to developing their very own management software that could cater fully to their own way of work. The company harnessed their own capability to leverage technology and customise their automation of HR and other business processes.
In 2019, the company began creating “Proficient Space” or “ProfSpace,” a private platform for HR, other leaders, and employees to access modules and activities within a confined system. This saves plenty of time on their part, as they no longer have to utilise multiple tools or platforms to accomplish parts of their work. Live updates are immediately available to them through ProfSpace.
Until today, ProfSpace allows the continuous digitisation of all HR processes, documents, and activities. All past documents have already been copied to a central cloud system, and henceforth all “paperwork” is being processed digitally for rapid access online. Aside from bringing the company’s paper trail to zero, productivity has also gone up by about 35%.
HR generalists also see a 35% reduction in workload, and in relation, this centralisation of HR data and records have reduced time spent seeking information by 25%. Having improved HR function’s efficiency, ProfSpace directly contributes to employee experience as leaders are able to leverage more time and resources to this strategic area. Since implementing the platform, the company has also seen 20% high employee satisfaction.
Business Development Representative Kar Chun Tan shared that this was sparked from the thought, “Why just acquire another tool when we have an internal capability as a Group to create our very own?” He also says that ProfSpace is one of the biggest wins for Big 3 Group since its inception.
