HR Ecosystem Awards: Diversity and Inclusion services

Diversity and inclusion (D&I) is an umbrella area of HR in that it affects a multitude of core functions, from recruitment efforts and onboarding strategies to priority areas for upskilling and attitude development among personnel, whether it is to enrich staff holistically or it directly ties in with organisational goals and values. This category of the HR Ecosystem Awards aims to gather the best of the best among HR technologies, hiring platforms, and other service providers that are helping HR eliminate personal bias in hiring, reach underrepresented groups, endow staff with a proper understanding of different cultures, and even customise compensation and benefits depending on what is culturally or location-appropriate.

D&I also contributes to a sense of belonging, a proven component of positive company culture that eventually reflects in the quality of service that employees can provide clients and customers. Judges will thus evaluate entries on the basis of their capacity to promote inclusivity within an organisation and how much it translates into felt impact in other areas of HR, whether in recruitment, talent retention, and training initiatives. Weight will also be given to measurable impact, as workforce diversity is going to be quantifiable. In the end, we will be able to present to the HR community in Southeast Asia the best solutions and platforms that companies can utilise to drive up D&I and perform better overall.

Key Assessment Criteria:

Judges evaluating the finalists and selecting the ultimate winners will focus on two key criteria that define excellence in diversity and inclusion:

  • Criteria #1 – Comprehensive Approach: The agency or service’s capacity to embrace and promote an inclusive, diverse environment within the organisation. This shall include but not be limited to, strategies for recruitment, talent retention, and development that prioritise diversity and inclusion throughout all levels of the organisation’s structure.
  • Criteria #2 (Optional) – Measurable Impact: The agency or service’s ability to create and implement strategies that quantitatively improve diversity in the workforce. This could be represented by increased statistical representation of underrepresented groups, improved employee retention and satisfaction scores, or clear evidence of positive organisational culture change towards diversity and inclusion.
