HR Ecosystem Awards: Talent management category

If there was a term that could encapsulate the core roles of HR, talent management would be a strong candidate. This includes the ability of an HR leader or team to acquire and nurture talent within the company with a clear development pathway, succession, and sustained optimal performance. Thus, this category under the HR Ecosystem Awards will centre on service providers in Southeast Asia that cater to this overall function of HR, effectively boosting business outcomes while also ensuring that personnel are well taken care of in terms of not only compensation, but also genuine career growth within the organisation.

Aside from holistic talent development, this category will also give attention to the ability of partners, solutions, or entries to provide customised plans for employees’ career growth and succession planning. The finalists and eventual winner of this category would be an HR service provider that specialises in working from the strengths of employees and outlining the best route for them to upskill, improve their network, and thrive in the company in a way that is aligned with and even directly contributes to overarching organisational goals. They take long-term employee fulfilment as seriously as business outcomes, considering these a non-negotiable duality for a truly successful organisation in today’s competitive landscape.

Key Assessment Criteria:

Judges evaluating the finalists and selecting the ultimate winners will focus on two key criteria that define excellence in talent management:

  • Criteria #1 – Holistic Talent Development: The partner or solution’s capability to offer a holistic talent management approach, encompassing talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Criteria #2 (Optional) – Personalized Career Growth: The partner or solution’s potential to provide personalised career development plans and opportunities for employees, aligning with individual aspirations and organisational goals.
