Employee wellbeing is an essential aspect of any successful organisation. Prioritising both the physical and mental health of the workforce can lead to improved engagement, productivity, and retention, among other key people metrics.
With this in mind, the Best Health and Wellness Interventions Award, part of the inaugural HR Stars Awards in 2023, recognises organisations that have implemented effective programmes and initiatives to support the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of their employees.
It celebrates the organisation that has demonstrated the most effective use of wellbeing strategies, including the full range of interventions from wellness programs and mental health support to work-life balance initiatives, and other employee benefits.
Judges will look at three key criteria when assessing the finalists and eventual winner of the Best Health and Wellness Interventions Award. They are:
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting employee health and wellbeing through all levels of the organisation
- Successful implementation of effective programmes that address the unique needs and priorities of the workforce
- Ability to track and measure the impact of health and wellness programmes and continuously improve outcomes

- Singapore and/or Regional Southeast Asia only
Questions for nominees (suggested responses of 20-250 words each):
- How does the nominee organisation go about promoting employee health and wellbeing through all levels of the organisation?
- What programmes have been successfully implemented in line with this approach?
- How does the nominee organisation track or measure the impact of its health interventions and continuously improve outcomes?
Nominees are also able to provide digital files, images, or video in support of their answers.
