HR Stars Awards: Second part of the judging panel revealed

The anticipation for the inaugural HR Stars Awards continues to build as the final three judges for this year’s event have been revealed. Joining the esteemed panel are HR leader K. Thivenathan, acclaimed author Balli Kaur Jaswal, and accomplished professional Allison Moore.

K Thivenathan
K. Thivenathan, widely known as Thivi in the industry, boasts an impressive career spanning multiple decades. With extensive experience in renowned companies like Coca-Cola, Honeywell, Epson, Eli Lilly, and UTAC, Thivi has solidified his position as a trusted advisor and expert in the field. Renowned for facilitating cross-border culture transformation and M&A initiatives, Thivi’s engaging people practices consistently address critical business challenges. Throughout his career, he has received numerous industry awards and accolades, including the prestigious HR Leader Award (Malaysia, 2006), finalist for the Best HR Leader Award (Singapore, 2011), and winner of Asia’s Best HR Team Award for Change Management (HRM Asia, 2017).


Balli Kaur Jaswal

Highly acclaimed author Balli Kaur Jaswal, known for her bestselling novel “Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows,” brings her unique perspective to the judging panel. Her literary prowess has garnered critical acclaim, with features in Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club and film rights optioned by Ridley Scott’s production company. Jaswal’s passion for storytelling and social justice advocacy shines through her workshops, lectures, and keynote speeches at international writers’ festivals. Allison Moore

Completing the judging panel is Allison Moore, a highly accomplished professional and Tech Editor at Chief of Staff Asia. With a genuine passion for human resources in Southeast Asia, Moore brings a unique perspective and extensive experience to her role.
