INDONESIA: Telecommunications giant Huawei has reaffirmed its commitment to share cybersecurity knowledge, improve workers’ IT skills, and overall upgrade digital infrastructure in Indonesia.
Huawei has renewed the Memorandum of Understanding by sealing off a new tripartite cooperation agreement between Huawei, the National Cyber and Crypto Agency of Indonesia (BSSN), and Institut Teknologi Del.
Under the new cooperation agreement, Huawei has offered upgraded advanced learnings and professional certifications on cyber security issues. The company has also partnered with IT Del for cyber security training for universities across the country.
The partnership also supports the government’s goal to cultivate at least 100,000 Indonesian digital workers in a span of five years to build a solid foundation for future-ready human capital.
