Mastercard has inaugurated its new Data and Services (D&S) Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to serve clients across the Asia Pacific region with offerings beyond transactions.
The hub aims to foster talent in data science, product development, and payments consulting.
Mastercard’s D&S experts work globally with nearly 4,000 clients in over 120 countries, providing solutions ranging from hyper-personalised loyalty programmes to product prototyping and end-to-end marketing solutions.
The Kuala Lumpur hub will offer cybersecurity, credit risk, and data analytics solutions to help local and regional businesses scale and unlock their potential.
Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications and Digital, Malaysia, expressed enthusiasm for the launch, stating that Malaysia is committed to becoming a leader in digitalisation across the Asia Pacific.
Ari Sarker, President, Asia Pacific, Mastercard, highlighted the region’s rapid digitalisation, which demands dedicated expertise from the new hub.
