The Philippine National Bank (PNB) and Aboitiz Group’s construction arm have announced separate partnerships aimed at reinforcing their workforces.
PNB is collaborating with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) to offer employment opportunities to its graduates.
PNB chair Federico Pascual said the partnership aligned with the bank’s sustainability strategy and aimed to ensure a steady influx of fresh, high-potential talents.
On the other hand, Aboitiz Construction has entered into a partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority provincial office in Bukidnon and Maces Skills Training Institute Inc.
The collaboration aims to train 25 workers for potential employment in the company’s maintenance services project in Surigao del Norte.
Charisse De Villa, Aboitiz Construction assistant vice president and officer in charge head of human resources and corporate shared services, highlighted the company’s commitment to providing employment opportunities and prioritising the hiring of local residents.
