Singapore-based non-profit She Loves Data has launched its own digital skills certification and training programme.
The SLDxDigital programme aims to equip women with skills in the areas of digital analytics, data-driven digital marketing, and digital innovation.
Classes will be held virtually, every Saturday, to ensure that women with careers can also participate.
The lessons are divided into three modules, that last four weeks each.
According to a survey sponsored by She Loves Data with Millieu Insight, 33% of women in Southeast Asia are interested in taking upskilling courses in IT, computing and programming.
Nearly eight out of ten Southeast Asian female employees prefer to take professional courses online, as opposed to face-to-face.
