Singapore-based telecommunications company StarHub has partnered with the Singapore Industrial and Services Employees’ Union (SISEU) to enhance employee development across its workforce.
The collaboration will establish a Company Training Committee to identify training needs and address skill gaps for StarHub employees.
The committee will include representatives from StarHub management, the union, and other industry stakeholders.
This initiative builds on StarHub’s existing learning and development programmes, such as the Leadership Accelerator Programme.
The Memorandum of Understanding between StarHub and the union was signed at StarHub Green, with National Trades Union Congress Deputy Secretary-General and Minister of State Desmond Tan in attendance.
The partnership aims to benefit both StarHub and its employees by fostering a resilient workforce and enhancing customer service.
