The Week Ahead: Mental health, staff events, HR Tech, and more

While it’s a long weekend here in Singapore, it’s still  set to be a huge week of content, case studies, interviews, and research across all Chief of Staff Asia platforms from Monday November 13.

On Monday, our First Word column has a contribution from Low Kiang Wei, medical director for International SOS. He’ll be discussing strategies and techological solutions that organisations can employ to better protect the mental wellbeing of their staff.

Certainly one strategy he’ll be discussing is how organisations can improve staff engagement, which leads neatly into Chief of Staff Asia’s next research paper, launching on Tuesday, and with featured content for the next two weeks.

The topic, MICE and Staff Events, is a timely one as we move into the end of the year, and also as we put another thankful year of distance between us and the pandemic. Our team has delved deep into how staff events have changed since that time, and what the newest of the new normals looks like in 2023.

Sticking with the theme, on Thursday Technology Editor Allison Moore’s HR Tech Update will look at the rising number of tech solutions helping even small organisations to execute on hybrid style staff events, with both live and online components.

Then on Friday, our Chief of Staff Five looks at the key ways AI tools are changing the HR space right now.

Look out also for new Case in Point case studies from Zalora, and Bank of America in Singapore. And we’re also coming into the last three weeks of nominations for the 2023 HR Ecosystem Awards: check out www.hrecosystemawards.com to find out more and get your entries in.

All this and more is happening right now on Chief of Staff Asia platforms, across the web, social media, and even in print with our next magazine issue now being finalised. It’s all created for the love of HR, in Singapore for the whole of Southeast Asia.
