Social media giant Twitter just had another round of layoffs, including US-based product manager Esther Crawford.
Crawford headed several projects at Twitter, including Twitter Blue, its paid verification subscription program.
Also included in the layoffs was Martin Kujiper, who founded Revue, a newsletter service which has also now been shut down.
Approximately 50 senior-level employees were fired over the last weekend of February 2023.
This has reduced Twitter’s global workforce to approximately 2,000, compared to the 7,500 employed when current CEO Elon Musk took over in October last year.
