As anticipation for this year’s HR Stars Awards intensifies, many have been inquiring about the intricacies of the nomination and judging process. In response, we have decided to provide a comprehensive breakdown of the entire process, ensuring that potential nominees are well-informed before they make their submissions.
To submit an entry, interested individuals or organisations must visit the HR Stars Awards ‘Nominate Now’ page at the top right part of the website and choose the appropriate category for their nomination. Each category has a separate form, and nominees are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible about their achievements and the impact they have made in the HR industry. Additional supporting documents, such as letters of recommendation, project reports, media coverage, and even company profiles, can also be attached to increase the chances of winning.
Once a nomination is submitted, the HR Stars Awards team will verify the nomination by reaching out to the nominee’s employer to confirm their right to speak for them. After this, the judges will deliberate and select the top three to four finalists from each of the 12 categories.
If selected as a finalist, nominees can expect to receive a series of broad-based questions from the judges via email, which they will have two weeks to answer. The judges will then assess each finalist submission and select the most deserving winner for each category. With at least three judges per category, nominees can trust that their achievements will be evaluated thoroughly and fairly.
If you are an HR professional or organisation that has made outstanding contributions to the HR industry, this is the perfect opportunity to receive the recognition you deserve. Submit your nomination now and keep your fingers crossed as the winners of each category will be announced on the HR Stars Awards website on July 10.
